You're not the first person on this page

You probably arrived here for one of three reasons.

People find Holina at different points. Some are reading this on their own, late at night, after another week that didn't go the way they promised themselves it would. Some are reading it from inside a business they've built and don't want to lose. Some are reading it after a third or fourth attempt that didn't hold.

Whichever one is true for you, the next part is the same. Keep reading.

Holina often works with people similar to these examples

If you have read this far, you already know.

01

The Sunday-night resolve

You make the promise on Sunday. You believe it on Monday. By Wednesday it's gone, and by Friday you've stopped pretending. You're high-functioning. Work is fine, on paper everything is fine, but you know the gap between how things look and how things feel. You're not at rock bottom in the often described 'traditional' sense. You're tired of the loop. You are ready to change.

02

The one with something to protect

Strength is built by stepping back, not pushing through. A business. A marriage. A reputation. A relationship with your kids. You've watched what this kind of thing does to people who let it run, and you're not interested in finding out personally. You'd rather spend a stay resolving it now than a year unwinding it later.

03

The one who can't access treatment on their doorstep

Your week is visible. People notice when you're not in the room. A traditional rehab isn't an option. Not for lack of need, but for what being seen needing it would cost. You need something that reads as a sabbatical, a retreat, a small break away.

If you saw yourself in any of those, the rest of this page is for you.

The honest case for going early

The version of this story that ends well usually starts before things fall apart.

There's a story in recovery about hitting rock bottom. It's a real story for some people. It's also become the default idea that things have to fully break before they can be rebuilt.

They don't.

The hardest moment to act is right now, when you still have everything to lose. It's also the most useful moment to act. The climb back from "I noticed before it got worse" is shorter, by a wide margin, than the climb back from "I lost something and I don't know if I can get it back."

Holina is built for the people who'd rather not find out what the next twelve months cost.

The programme

Give yourself time. A proper reset.

A private therapeutic farm on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. Open land, a working farm, animals, fresh food, a structured day that takes most of the small decisions off your plate.

Supported by a full team of therapists and recovery coaches. One-to-one sessions and small group therapy are the work. The schedule then has a focus on movement every day, real food, real sleep, and time. Rest, recover, rebuild.

You won't be in your inbox. You won't be in your routine. You won't be in your living room at 9pm when the day comes apart. Responsibilities are to yourself and to rebuilding the life you want to live.

Clinical work
One-to-one therapy and small group sessions, led by the Holina on-site team.
Structured days
Movement, meals, therapy, rest. The shape of the day decides itself.
The setting
A working farm. Open land. Animals. Mediterranean light. Real food grown nearby. Ocean and coastline on the doorstep.
After your stay
A clear plan for what continues when you go home. A continuation of your foundation, with ongoing support and therapy as required.
Discretion is part of the design

A month in Cyprus is whatever you say it is.

For many of the people who arrive here, the deciding factor isn't the programme. It's whether they can step out of life for a period of time without questions they don't want to answer.

Holina is built for that.

The location is private and remote
The setting reads as a working farm, not a clinic

To anyone in your life, you've been on a sabbatical, a retreat, a writing month, a working break. None of that would be untrue.

Who Holina is for

Adults working through alcohol, drug, or behavioural addictions.

People who've tried to manage it in their current setting and now want a different one. Often professional. Often time-pressured. Almost always privacy-conscious.

We are not always the right fit for people experiencing co-morbidities such as eating disorders, or those who require complex psychiatric care. We take our duty to anyone reaching out seriously, and we will tell you on the first call if Cyprus may not be the right place for you at this time.

Common questions

The things people ask us first.

How long do clients stay?
One month is the minimum and what most people complete. Some choose to extend for a longer reset of 60-90 days, and we'll talk through that on the call if it's relevant.
Will my employer or family need to know?
Only what you choose to share. Holina is designed to be invisible to anyone outside your decision.
What kind of addictions does Holina treat?
Alcohol, drugs, and behavioural addictions in adults. Holina would not be the right fit for people struggling with eating disorders, similar co-morbidities, or anyone requiring psychiatric care.
What happens on the first call?
A 20-minute conversation with our admissions lead. We'll ask about your situation, what you've tried, and what you're hoping a stay at Holina could do. If Cyprus is right for you, we'll talk through dates. If it isn't, we'll tell you and point you to something better suited.
